Mastering The Way Of Doing It With Mind

How to really use the mind.

In doing jobs, we often forgot to use the mind.

It is true that we always use our mind in doing tasks, but what I meant was using the mind as a tool rather than just getting ideas.

Because mind is wild, free and limitless, we need to use simple and practical ways to control it. Here is how to do it.

Step 1. Write.
Before doing a task, write everything. Goals, ideas, dreams, reasons, everything.

Experts estimates that the mind thinks an average of 2,500 – 3,330 thoughts per hour and as you finished reading this you already have 3 thoughts in your mind.

So, it’s already a heavy workload there in your mind. Writing helps to capture those thoughts and also make it easier for us to rationalize the ideas later.

Remember, those precious ideas will turn to a waste if we lose it.

Step 2. Plan.
From the writings that you did, take all the necessary item that will help you in your work.

Then, plan what is best for you. It is recommended that you do 2-3 plans in case the first one fails (based on personal experience).

Step 3. Consideration.
Try going through your plan one by one and find any possibility for it to fails.

This is your chance to use your negative thinking. Who says negative is bad?

Edward De Bono, the Einstein of using mind as a tool said that:

Intelligence is like the horsepower of a car, thinking skills are like the driving skills with which a car is driven.

We have many good ideas while doing our task, but failure to utilize those ideas will make thinking lose it’s purpose.

Use the mind wisely and it will be easier for us to declutter it and focus to our work.
