Leadership #1 : Automation

I tried a new leadership method. I failed. Here’s why.

Automation is where you set a certain things and let it run by itself. Well, I did that with my team and I think it failed really bad.

Here’s why:

1) Monitoring is important.

2) Monitor yourself too. You remind yourself on what is missing.

3) Motivation is lacking in automation. Humans are not robot. Automation lacks affection.

4) There are no clear achievements or milestones. You do you. Hence, congratulate people on every small achievements but be careful not to go overboard.

5) Always re-evaluate the process. Missed a process, and you could ruin the whole project!
